ZORK closures are 100% recyclable.

ZORK closures are made from low density polyethylene (LDPE), the most commonly used polymer in food and beverage packaging worldwide.  Coded with international recycling code (4), ZORK closures can be included with other recycling items for regular council or curbside collection.

ZORK is working with several recyclers who are recycling ZORK with other polymers to make plastic lumber, commonly used in the community, for park benches, outdoor furniture, public bollards and retaining walls.  For examples of these products please visit AusPlaztik.

We are also working with product design students to find innovative was of using recycled ZORK material.
